Becoming Readers: Supporting All Kids on Their Reading Journey

New England library staff are invited to "Becoming Readers: Supporting All Kids on Their Reading Journey," a virtual summit centering young children and their families.

Explore topics such as supporting prenatal and newborn families, how kids learn to read, and the Mind in the Making early learning program. Join us for practical sessions aimed at equipping librarians with tools to empower children in their reading journey from infancy and beyond.

This virtual event is presented by the New England Collaborative, a partnership between the Connecticut State Library, Maine State Library, Massachusetts Library System, New Hampshire State Library, Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, and the Vermont Department of Libraries. Learn more about the New England Collaborative at https://sites.google.com/view/ne-library-youth-summits/home.

If any reasonable accommodation is needed to ensure equal access or participation, contact the Office of Library and Information Services at (401) 574-9300 not less than three (3) business days in advance of the meeting or program date. More advanced notice is highly advisable.
