Sharing Visions, a joint effort by the New England State Library Agencies, presents the Sharing Visions 2024 Virtual Conference from 1:00-3:30pm via Zoom on Thursday, March 28, 2024. This conference brings together library practitioners and others interested in resource sharing developments for learning and sharing. 
 
Merrie Haskell Fuller, Pamela Kindelberger and William Gee from the Codes, Guidelines and Technical Standards Committee of the Reference and User Services Association’s (RUSA) Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Section (STARS) will present the Revised Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States with Explanatory Text. 

Join librarian Chris Freeland for an exploration of the Internet Archive, a digital library that serves researchers everywhere through its mission of providing "Univeral Access to All Knowledge." In this session Chris will delve into the library's services, both existing and new, that make it a critical resource for researchers, students, and anyone seeking access to information online. He will take a detailed walk through the Internet Archive's resource sharing activities, controlled digital lending (CDL) and new efforts to implement protocol-based ILL using ISO 18626. Chris will also discuss the lawsuit against the Internet Archive by four publishers, including implications of the lawsuit and the impact on the wider library community. 

The program is free and open to attendees from all types of libraries.
