It's time to start taking a closer look at 2024 picture books. Please review at least 8 of the books on the discussion list for the first meeting. Participating in the Mock Caldecott is an opportunity to sharpen selection skills and learn about the award process for the Caldecott Medal. Voting for a Rhode Island winner and honor books will take place virtually on January 14, 2025 using the balloting procedures of the real committee. A letter of participation is available for participants who need to fulfill continuing education requirements.
