Celebrate Persian New Year at Weaver

Nowruz is an Iranian celebration that signifies the arrival of spring, symbolizing renewal and hope for the new year. East Providence Public Library honors this occasion by setting up a Haft-Sin table, adorned with seven symbolic items that invite health, joy, love, and prosperity. Surrounded by loved ones, embrace the warmth of their presence, ensuring that love and support accompany us throughout the year ahead. Have fun reading a story in both Persian and English, dancing to joyful Persian children's music, and creating Sabze (wheat) sprouts.
