This half-day workshop will feature Jason Griffey, noted library technologist and presenter, who will continue the conversation about the future of libraries begun at the RI Library Futures Conference in June. Jason regularly speaks internationally on the future of technology, most notably at the Next Library conference in Aarhus, Denmark and for Carnegie Mellon University in Doha, Qatar. Here in the U.S., Jason is an Affiliate Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. Jason will provide an introduction to a variety of emerging technology, including Blockchain and the Internet of Things and will provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with emerging technology in a hands-on workshop.

This event will take place in the Papitto room in the Fisher Student Center at Bryant University. Lunch will be served.
