Digital Innovation Roundtable: VR Workshop with RI Virtual Reality
Have you ever wanted to try using VR headsets or exploring in a virtual 3D world? Join us for this fun VR workshop where you'll have the chance to try them out! This workshop will be a round-robin style where you will hop from one activity to the next. You will be broken down into groups of 5 people to complete each activity, with activities ranging from dabbling in current Virtual Reality software, hardware, and media. One of the activities will entail a bit of programming, but don’t worry if you’ve never programmed before - we will have plenty of mentors to help you complete the activity! All backgrounds and experiences are welcome. Due to limited hardware, we will have to cap this workshop to the first 25 people that sign up.
