The Power of Stories: Writing Programs for Veterans

Libraries programs can provide Veterans with opportunities to share the stories of their service, and in doing so help build understanding, address the trauma of war, and add to the historical record. Jane Granatino from the Barrington Public Library and Kate Kulpa, Fall River Public Library will share about the veterans' writing program they have been hosting for the past year - how they set up the program, how it operates, and what impact it has had on participants.

Registrants will receive the Zoom information 1 hour before the event begins. If you are having difficulty connecting, contact Nicolette Baffoni.

If any reasonable accommodation is needed to ensure equal access or participation, contact the Office of Library and Information Services at (401) 574-9300 not less than three (3) business days in advance of the meeting or program date. More advanced notice is highly advisable.
