Walk & Listen
Meet at the library at 9 am on Saturday, May 14, and join Barrington Public Library's Digital Services Librarian Kyle on a morning walk to clear your mind and enjoy the outdoors. Participants are encouraged to listen to an audiobook or music (or even the sounds of nature) separately while we walk together. This allows you to be connected to your library and community while still enjoying time for relaxation and reflection. All participants who choose to listen to an audiobook or music should bring their own device and headphones.
Not sure what you want to listen to? Download the Libby or hoopla apps and enjoy access to thousands of audiobooks or albums for free at your fingertips. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and will be primarily on the East Bay Bike Path, although you are welcome to continue walking after the 1-hour point. We will leave from and return to the library.
Free and open to adults. Weather permitting. May be rescheduled due to inclement weather. View event information and register on Barrington Public Library's website.
