In this workshop, we will review the types of projects that you can do to cleanup your item records. This allows for an easier inventory project, allows items to find their way back to perhaps a mislabeled location and discoverable by patrons, and this helps us consider weeding items that have not been out in years making room for new materials. With a potential migration early in 2023, this is an excellent time to clean up records electronically, weed titles that are taking shelf space and not circulating and conduct a collection inventory. Open to all library staff who perform any cataloging at all. If you register, please plan to have access to Sierra and a camera and microphone.
